Better Relationships
In.Sight fundamentally believes that our clients especially men/ men of color deserve authentic and healthy relationships not only with themselves but with their romantic partner. A part of this journey is exploring societal and gender roles which can endorse a traditional masculinity framework (emphasizing self-reliance, stoicism, reluctance to admit to weakness) and inhibiting one’s ability to seek assistance or building a cadre of healthy coping mechanisms to deal with life and it’s stressors.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
In.Sight utilizes and deploy interventions that draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which focuses on emotional connection, conflict resolution and communication skills, and modifying negative thought patterns. Although, each treatment plan is tailored to each client that we serve, CBT offers unique strategies to foster understanding and positive change in oneself and relationships with oneself/ one’s partner.
